A spacious pub, dead in the centre of Braintree. The Horse and Groom is run by the Greene King pub group, so if you're familiar with them you'll notice many of the typical trappings of their great pubs here, including a good quality menu and a large range of beers on tap. The Horse and Groom has a fantastic outside seating area in its beer garden towards the back of the pub, which makes it extra special for summer visits with your dog to Braintree. As a word of warning, there is occasionally live music on in the evenings at the Horse and Groom, making it less suitable for dogs of a nervous disposition. All in all, a great pub though.
