The best of dog-friendly Brighton & Hove

A beautiful city by the sea, and a must-visit location for you and your dog. Brighton is packed with places to go where you can Bring Your Pooch. It’s a city of dog-lovers too, with close to 25% of the city’s population having dogs. The places you can take your dog outnumber those that you can’t, which makes life easy for dog owners.

Here are a few of our top picks for locations to visit.

The UK's Original Vegan Pizza

The UK’s first vegan pizza restaurant. Purezza has since gone on to win the National Pizza of the Year Award 2018, showing that you don’t need dairy to have fun (or make great pizza). These guys are ridiculously lovely to dogs, so check ’em out.

Sustainable Sushi

Voted the most sustainable restaurant in Brighton & Hove, Moshimo are known for their incredible Japanese food. The restaurant has a fully functioning sushi belt, so stop by, nab a few dishes, and tuck on in.

Brighton's Best Value Grub

Iydea is situated in the iconic North Laine area of Brighton. It’s bustling little place, and honestly you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better meal for under a tenner in the UK, let alone in Brighton & Hove. They’re dog mad too!

The Shepherd & Dog

Nestled at the base of the South Downs, the Shepherd & Dog is just a few miles out of Brighton but it’s worth the journey.

Wonderful Sussex ales and beers, fantastic Sunday Roasts, and scenic dog walks to the North, South, East, and West.

Park the car at the top of Devil’s Dyke and traipse down the South Downs to the beautiful village of Fulking and enjoy a meal and a couple of pints here with your dog.
