The Bluebell

The Bluebell in York is a sweet and cosy haven away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The pub is small but with oodles of charm. It dates back to 1798 and still has most of the original features that make traditional old style pubs so authentic and full of character. They serve a wide selection of good quality ales and the staff here are genuinely some of the friendliest around- especially to the pooches!

Of note- the pub is cash only and, as they are a small venue, they don’t allow large groups.
