Bring The Pooch's verdict

A wonderful and delightful bistro-style environment in York, with world class service and top quality food. Winning the OpenTable Diner's Choice Award in 2018 is well deserved for Ate O'Clock – a premium quality restaurant where lots of love and passion is apparent in the food that they serve. Despite its growing reputation as one of York's leading premium restaurants, it's never lost its quirky edge either. The decor is very cool and stylish, with clocks adorning every wall that are permanently set to 8 o'clock. The food is great, with menus boasting a range of British and European dishes. There are also vegan menus available upon request. Can't fault this place! Lovely to people, lovely to dogs.

Lovely people, lovely food. A fantastic bistro and a real jewel of a restaurant in York. The fact that they’re dog friendly is a big bonus to me as I take my little Yorkie wherever I go.
