Just a short walk from the iconic Lewes Castle (which sadly doesn't allow dogs in... but is still great to look at from the outside), The Brewers Arms is one of Lewes' best loved pubs. More or less every year it takes home an award from CAMRA (the Campaign for Real Ale) for the South Downs region, meaning that for ale fans you won't find a better pub in the whole of Sussex. For dog fans, it's top quality too, being warm, friendly and welcoming to pooches of all shapes and sizes.
