A splendid old 1600s pub in central Frome that underwent renovation in around 2014. What you've now got is a beautiful, traditional pub with up-to-date quality furnishings, giving it a relaxed and inviting feel. They have a nice private beer garden too. They pride themselves in serving some local Frome ales, as well as guest ales from around the country. There's a great menu on offer too, but the big hit has to be their Sunday roast. Dogs are welcome at all times, except after 8pm on Friday and Saturday (when, to be fair, it can be a louder and more stressful atmosphere for many dogs).
