The Plough is based just a short distance from Scarborough in Scalby. This is a beautiful pub with rooms to stay, but it puts equal focus into the restaurant side of what it does too with great quality menus and beautiful areas in which to eat. You can expect freshly caught North Sea fish, locally raised beef, and a plethora of great tapas and small plate options too. The food is renowned for being brilliant, so it's worth the trip out of central Scarborough if you're staying nearby. They hold awards from the Good Food Guide, AA, and VisitEngland to name but a few. Please note they do have some restrictions around dogs staying after 5pm on Friday and Saturday evenings.
