The Lock Up is a friendly, family-owned restaurant with an attached bar. The food is focused on modernised British cuisine, with some truly delicious and innovative dishes being served on a daily basis. It's only dog friendly to a degree – dogs are only allowed in the outside seating area. Nonetheless, this is a lovely place to sit, even in the worst weather – there are heaters provided and the whole outside area is sheltered. They have a great breakfast, but it only runs on Saturdays. It's very near St George Park, making it ideal for a meal after a dog walk. The Lock Up is a big hit with any foodie.
