Really Happy Chicken is among the hottest of vegan hotspots in Brighton & Hove. This place rips off fried chicken wholesale with its menu, but does everything 100% vegan. It's somewhere that really has to be tried to be believed. The chicken recipe uses seitan, a wheat-based protein, to create a chicken 'meat' that's identical to its animal-based counterpart. The result? Amazing burgers, wings, fillets and more that are indistinguishable from regular fried chicken... and without any colonels in sight. What's more, Really Happy Chicken is really dog friendly. In fact, when we asked we were told that they welcome 'all dogs and their well-behaved humans'!
