Pen-y-Bryn translates in Welsh to "top of the hill" - which is where this fantastic gastropub is located in Colwyn Bay. Whilst it is situated a little inland, thanks to the pub's vantage point you can get some scenic sea views from the gardens. But you're not here for the views – let's talk about the food! Being a gastropub, Pen-y-Bryn has a menu packed with hearty but quality dishes. Whilst the menu is seasonal and thus rotates, you can expect some great seafood, some locally farmed classics (including steak) and also venison. There are some good vegan options, plenty of veggie options, and a few gluten free options too, meaning Pen-y-Bryn caters to all. If it's summer, enjoy the spacious gardens outside.
