Bring The Pooch's verdict
The Gloucester Road branch of Bristol's beloved Coconut Tree. This one's a Sri Lankan street food institution, not just for the city of Bristol but is known up and down the UK for its amazing food (they have subsequently opened several more branches around the country).
There's a focus on tapas sized small dishes, meaning you can order a few and mix and match as you see fit. There's a huge number of vegetarian and vegan options too. And don't miss out on a cocktail, or should we say a 'cocotail'.
Coconut Tree is wonderfully dog friendly and the staff couldn't be nicer about you bringing your four legged friend along.

February 22, 2020 at 10:39I adore Sri Lankan food. The mix of spices and coconut are brought to life here in such a fantastic way. Lovely service too. The place itself is large and open and my dogs are always treated with love and affection by staff. Can get a bit noisy but otherwise great.
