Vennels Cafe is a breathtakingly beautiful cafe to visit. It's like stepping back through time, as you enter this old 16th century building which you reach through the historic alleyways that lead to it (the 'vennels' from which the cafe takes its name). Honestly, the design of the location and its architecture make it worth a visit alone. However, in addition to the beautiful layout and decor of the cafe, you're also greeted with a stunning array of gorgeous homemade food including cakes which are to die for. We recommend stopping by for lunch to grab a homemade freshly baked pie. There are two floors to this stunning cafe, and plenty of heaters, so grab a cosy spot in the corner with your dog and take some time to relax.
