    The only thing we love more than a dog friendly pub is a Viking themed dog friendly pub. Valhalla is exactly that. It has dishes named after Norse Gods such as Thor, Hel and Odin (but has a 5 star rating for Food Safety, because even Vikings respect a clean kitchen). The drinks menu consists of plenty of local York beers and ales, and The Drink of the Gods itself, mead. They don't serve cocktails, but hey, are vikings really into cocktails?

      A Viking themed pub with mead and ales flowing constantly. WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT! Lovely people too. Have visited a few times when I make it to York.
