Bring The Pooch's verdict

A lovely little micro-pub serving quality ales, most of them sourced as locally as possible. This one is a hit with dogs too, as there's an upside down corgi strapped to the ceiling in the bar area! (don't worry, it's just a statue!)

Ales of the Unexpected is one of Margate's highest rated pubs on various listing sites, and is based but a short walk from the seafront too. If you're in need of a quality beer or ale, then this is one to stop by.

Cracking little pub. If you like beers, check this place out. IT’s a journey through ale!
